This song is the first song I released as an artist. It’s real, raw, and 100% me. It was recorded on a day when I woke up with hardly any voice. It’s not meant to be perfect, it’s meant to be here.

This song is a culminations of everything I have experienced as a woman throughout my life- the insecurity and the dutifulness that has given way to empowerment and faith in the journey.

I am not perfect. But I am a whole, complete, golden person. We all are. Down beneath the fears, the accomplishments, the shortcomings, and the dreams lies the undeniable, unequivocal, divine self that shines through the ups and downs of life. We don’t need anyone else to make us golden- we already are.
